Although the climate in Berne can be a little chilly at times, the summer months are typically Swiss and quite warm. From June to August, the fine summer weather in Berne results in daytime averages of between 22°C / 72°F and 23°C / 73°F, although with a little strong sunshine, temperatures can often rise higher.

The winter season in Berne tends to be quite long and stretches between November and the middle of March.
